Graduate Council

The Graduate Council is responsible for formulating, reviewing, disseminating, and monitoring the implementation of policies and procedures concerning graduate education at NDSU. 

Council members

At the February 7, 2023 meeting, Council approved requiring an enrollment minimum of 6 credits to hold a fall/spring graduate assistantship (unless a student is graduating). This graduate assistant policy change will go into effect beginning fall 2024 (and will appear in the 2024/2025 Catalog).

The policy change is part of the 2023 Report of the NDSU Graduate Council report on the 2022 Tuition Waiver Working Group Recommendations and Proposals, found here.
